Fun with the Bunch's

The Bunch's came over for dinner and fun Sunday night. Weston and Brennan played in the pool and ate potato chips. They even fed each other some. The momma's and daddy's had burgers, fries, and beans. Gotta love the summer and cooking out on the grill!
Elliott might not have had a little buddy over but she sure loves when we get the pool out! She pulled up on the side and stood up most of the time. She was quite entertained watching the boys play.

Enter Elliott

Last summer I made a 'Welcome Weston' video. Now, to keep it even I decided to put together a 'Enter Elliott' video. Watching these make me realize how fast time goes by and I cry almost every time I see them. I am so thankful for my little Elliott!

Ellie Grey is 8 Months Old

Elliott was 8 months old on 7/9/10. The monthly photo shoot gets more and more difficult as she just wants to grab the sign and eat it. Of course Weston had to get in on the action. At 8 mos Elliott is very busy crawling and pulling up. She will take a few steps while she is holding on to something and seems ahead of Weston at this age. She really tries to hang in there with her brother, but he gets a little rough sometimes. I think she is going to be a tough little chick.

Cooking Out at the Harrison's

We had a such a great time at the Harrison's Sunday night! Weston, Lanier, & Elliott played in the pool and had a blast! Weston always loves going over to their house because they have so many cool toys. :) Their swim diapers complimented their thunder thighs nicely. Thanks for having us guys!

Blueberry Cheesecake

I found a Blackberry Cheesecake recipe on The Pioneer Woman blog that I wanted to try. We had blueberries in the freezer so I used those instead. I also cut the recipe in half so I could try out our tart pan with the removable bottom. It turned out delicious and we enjoyed it with Grey after dinner last night. Glad to have the 'perfect' cheesecake recipe in my repertoire. :)

Hair bow holder...

Elliott and I decided she needed someplace to display her hair bows. They are art afterall. So we went to the craft store and grabbed a canvas so that we could cover it with some of the extra fabric from her curtains. We then stapled some pretty paisley ribbon to hold the bows. The end product was almost as cute as EG her self.
