Ashlegh's Getting Married!

My friend since middle school, Ashlegh Edwards, is getting married this October. She was the friend who always said she wasn't getting married until she was 30. Well she will be a few years short of 30 but did manage to wait 6 years longer than me, which was no surprise to anyone. We were roommates in college and I was there when her fiance, Chase, picked her up for their first date. So happy for you guys!
Morgan and I are helping host a shower for her October 3rd in Raleigh. Here is a picture of the Fall themed invitation I made!

The Bunch Wedding

Jonathan and I drove to Kitty Hawk this past Saturday for Danielle and Aaron's wedding. It was on a pier and it was the perfect day. We met these guys in our life group at church. The group has been such a blessing to us and we have met some amazing people. To be there on their big day was very special. Alley and Alan made it out too, and it was great to spend time with them. Missed all the other couples!

You may kiss the bride.
Looking good!

EG is 9 months old!

This month Elliott is standing up by herself. She will be holding a toy with both hands and not notice she is standing alone. This morning I turned around and she had gone up 3 stairs. Guess I better be more careful! I have two babies that aren't okay with stairs on their own yet. She also likes to stand up in the high chair every time, so we have to strap her in. Never had to do that with Weston at this age, but he was very serious about eating. :) She is smacking her lips and imitating our sounds, like bye bye and dada.
It's getting nearly impossible to take the monthly pictures but I will press on.

Batts Beach Week

It was so hard to come back home from beach week this year. I had gotten used to having all the family around to love on and laugh with constantly for 6 days. It took me a few days to get rid of the blues.
We had such an amazing time. Best week to date if you ask me. All of us cousins just don't get to spend time together like that during the year. We all decided to take a night to make dinner and it worked out really well.
This was Elliott's first week at the beach and she did great, enjoying both the beach and pool. I just appreciate everyone putting up with the little ones. If you aren't around kids much, the whining can get to you. Also, if you are around kids much, the whining can get to you.
One night the whole gang went to Net House and walked around Beaufort a little. Thanks to my aunt Debra for forcing Mema to take a stroll with us we got a great group shot. :) I LOVE MY FAMILY!!!

Fun with the Bunch's

The Bunch's came over for dinner and fun Sunday night. Weston and Brennan played in the pool and ate potato chips. They even fed each other some. The momma's and daddy's had burgers, fries, and beans. Gotta love the summer and cooking out on the grill!
Elliott might not have had a little buddy over but she sure loves when we get the pool out! She pulled up on the side and stood up most of the time. She was quite entertained watching the boys play.

Enter Elliott

Last summer I made a 'Welcome Weston' video. Now, to keep it even I decided to put together a 'Enter Elliott' video. Watching these make me realize how fast time goes by and I cry almost every time I see them. I am so thankful for my little Elliott!

Ellie Grey is 8 Months Old

Elliott was 8 months old on 7/9/10. The monthly photo shoot gets more and more difficult as she just wants to grab the sign and eat it. Of course Weston had to get in on the action. At 8 mos Elliott is very busy crawling and pulling up. She will take a few steps while she is holding on to something and seems ahead of Weston at this age. She really tries to hang in there with her brother, but he gets a little rough sometimes. I think she is going to be a tough little chick.
